I've been enjoying my break by working a whole damn lot! Eh, what am I going to do about it anyways? It's good pay and I need the money. I am just glad I have been in the mood to draw lately. I've been reading a lot of that In the Studio book and feeling really inspired, I got to start reading more R. Crumb now! |

Super late christmas post!
Oh boy, did I have myself a good christmas. In fact, my mom got a new canon power shot A540, so we got to get some pretty sweet pics of it all.
First off I was excited to recieve a new bratz game! HELL YES!
But then to my bitter suprise, it turned out that my brother imported a copy of ultimate jump stars, which is probably a lot more fun than Bratz rock angelz.
Then we moved on to the rest of the presents and this is what we recieved!
I got:
In the studio: visits with contemporary cartoonist. This being a book of sorts with stuff about R. Crumb and Chris Ware, a few of my favorite artist.
Ultimate jump stars for the ds.
A $100 visa check card for guitar lessons.
And some sweet new jammies. (hence the change of clothing throughout the pictures)
My brother got:
Yoshi's island ds
A $100 visa check card for drum lessons (duuur, we like music)
A wii classic controller (we got one on launch, so fuck yeah, suckahs)
Bitchin' bath robe
And then my parents got their usual parents stuff. Me and my brother pitched in money to get my mom a singer sewing machine and my dad a bunch of wine stuff, like a new wine rack and assortment of fine wines.
Oh and my doggy got a chicken :3

I apologize for the lack of updates, life has been a little busy but at least I am done with school for a bit.
A lot has happened since my last update. As of December 6th, I turned 21 and can now booze it up legally, which is nice, I guess. My brother picked up a Wii as well as the new Zelda and Trauma center. I also went to see Sean Lennon in concert on tuesday and it was damn good. Sean proved to be a funny and talented man, much like his father.
Anyways, comic, ugh:

My brother Bill is back home for a bit before he gets a job some where else so I've been busy/lazy/not feeling up to it to draw. But no worries, best not to rush or force anything when I don't have any deadlines.
My brother got me into the WoW card game; it's pretty fun. They have a little sleeve for the deck holder where you can insert pictures so I drew a cover:
It was a quick sketch and draw but it's better than nothing.

Yeah, I've been playing Rocket slime lately on the DS and it's hella' fun. I love the style, music, gameplay, EVERYTHING! It's been awhile since I've enjoyed a platform with such a classic feel.
I also might make the vomit a background. It's pretty charming!

It's been a bit, but here is the 4th page of L. Zam and crew. Oh man, so much good music has been released since I last posted as well. Let's see, new Beck album, new Decemberists album, new Sean Lennon album, and a new Of Montreal album. I got them all, and have to say not a single one has disappointed. Out of the batch, I do say the Decemberists and Sean Lennon albums are the best. Also, I hope to be getting comics out a little quicker now, I've been getting lazy.

Second L Zam comic, I really enjoy making these. I would like to do a more deep, thoughtful story, almost Chris Ware-esque but being retarded is just more fun :)
I also decided to tint this with a light yellow. Kind of in the mood for that faded look! |
